My latest piece delivered to Rosebed St Gallery for the 'Small Works / Small Town' Exhibit - the 'takeaway' group art exhibition, showcasing some of my small assemblage whimsical artworks.
Betty B
No guessing of her title, can you see the resemblance?
Yep :^) love the stand. Was it found like that or have you adjusted it to suit?
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty. Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteHi Anna, amazingly yes that is how I found it, apart from a tiny bit of adjusting the legs to weld onto the base and the addition of the springs for her eyes and eyebrows.
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura!
Ah but it took you to see the possibility. Great patina, reminds me of a ceramic chrome glaze with iron oxide :^)
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna, I'm amazed at what I find sometimes. It sure is a great patina, and does look like a chrome glaze w iron oxide, perhaps one to try :-) I'd love to replicate some of the age patina's of the steel.
ReplyDeleteShe's ready to rock'n'roll. Cute!
ReplyDeleteI so love your work and your dedication to it that I've awarded you the "Liebster' blog award. You can learn about it on my latest blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Jo, thanks!!! I am so appreciative of your support, I believe you are most deserving of the 'Liebster' award too...
